Retail
Helping companies get the most out of motivated staff is an important part of our vision at IBP, and retail companies in particular can now get the financial backing they need to make critical changes to their organisation.
The European Social Fund (ESF) has opened up funds to retail businesses across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to develop staff skills and motivation. This project is being led by Solent Skills Quest (SSQ), and it aims to raise standards and improve career prospects amongst retail staff.
IBP, in conjunction with SSQ, offers a training brokerage service for retailers interested in improving the skills of their employees. From business management to apprentices for new-starters, IBP brokers will visit small and medium sized retail companies interested in tackling skills, to help them get the most out of their staff, as well as increase service quality and competitiveness.
IBP brokers are best placed to advise retail businesses on appropriate courses which suit the needs of the business.
